HALO has been developing essential components for decades in sectors such as telecommunications, energy, industry, and instrumentation. Although not always visible, their solutions are at the heart of critical equipment, enabling the transfer of data and power with integrity and security. Their technical range includes:

Magnetics for telecom: transformers for T1/E1, CEPT, T3, DS3, E3, STS, STM, or low-speed digital lines. They offer modules like Tele-Pro™ with surge protection and integrated RJ45 Tele-Jack™ connectors designed for space-constrained environments.

Their latest innovation: compact DC/DC converters with galvanic isolation

Convertidores DC-DC Halo Electronics

Modern electronic designs tend to be increasingly compact, but technical demands remain high: there is still a need to isolate signals, minimize interference, and protect sensitive components. To meet this challenge, HALO Electronics is launching a new range of unregulated DC/DC converters with SMD packaging, designed for projects where space is limited but reliability is non-negotiable. This family offers power ratings of 1W and 2W with secure galvanic isolation (up to 1.5 kVDC standard and 3 kVDC in the 1W version), all housed in an ultra-compact package measuring just 12.8 × 10.44 × 7.25 mm. Its low-profile five-pin design allows for direct replacement in existing layouts without the need for redesign, reducing validation times and costs.

They support common input and output voltages in power electronics (from 3.3 to 12 V), and dual versions with symmetrical outputs (+/-5 V, +/-12 V) as well as expansions up to 24 V will be available soon.
They include continuous short-circuit protection and are certified according to international standards (UL 94 V-0 and UL 62368), making them suitable for demanding industrial environments, even with operating temperatures between -40 °C and +85 °C.
They are especially recommended for applications such as isolated power supplies for sensors, RS-485/CAN interfaces, embedded electronics, industrial IoT equipment, or control systems with multiple voltage domains.
