In applications such as energy storage, telecommunications, or data centers, one of the major challenges is achieving a balance between energy density, operational reliability, and optimization of available rack and infrastructure space. Added to this is the need for intelligent management systems that ensure safety and extend battery service life.
Aware of these demands, Huison has developed a new 51.2V lithium rack-mount battery that directly addresses these requirements. Its compact 2U height design (89 mm) maximizes space utilization without compromising performance, offering a capacity of up to 110Ah (5.6 kWh). This solution is designed for environments where efficiency, scalability, and system robustness are critical factors.
Compact design with intelligent management
The new battery features a proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) and an LCD screen, enabling real-time monitoring of key parameters. This level of control ensures stable and safe operation, minimizing the risks of overcharge, deep discharge, or cell imbalance.
Currently, this model is already being evaluated in international projects, initiating certification processes under globally recognized standards such as IEC62619, UN38.3, and CE. Validation under these standards provides an additional assurance of quality and reliability, and strengthens the product’s potential for adoption in large-scale installations.
