New Mascot 3546 LiFe charger: efficient solution for LiFePO4 batteries
Mascot has announced the availability of the new 3546 LiFe charger for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. This innovation is designed to provide safe and efficient charging, with versions optimized for 4- and 8-cell battery packs.
Part of the renowned Blueline family, the 3546 LiFe is ready to power medical applications worldwide. Its design features a three-stage charging control with current detection, ensuring stable and reliable performance. Additionally, thanks to the CBC tool, users can customize various charger parameters to meet their specific needs.
The charger is plug-in and allows a maximum current of 2A. Its universal input voltage of 90-264 VAC makes it compatible with various electrical installations. It also includes activation and low-current start-up functionality for deeply discharged batteries.
Safety and regulatory compliance in every charge
In terms of safety, it features protection against reverse polarity, short circuits, charging battery packs with an incorrect number of cells, and safety timer expiration.
It meets medical and safety certifications, including UL, EN 60601-1 edition 3.1, EN 60601-1-11 for home healthcare, and EN 60335-1 and -2-29 for home safety. It is also compliant with EMC standard EN 60601-1-2 edition. 4.
Mascot offers the possibility of custom specifications, such as charging parameters, connectors, cables, logo printing, different enclosure types or IP ratings, as well as additional certificates according to customer requirements.
The 3546 LiFe charger is compatible with the CBC module, which allows configuring charging parameters, including timers and safety timers, with the advantage that the CBC can be field-configured for greater flexibility.
