KNI5048: General-Purpose AC/DC Capacitors
The KNI5048 series is designed for AC/DC applications and offers a rated capacitance range from 10 µF to 600 µF, with tolerances of ±5% and ±10%. It is available for rated RMS voltages of 250, 330, 480, and 690 V AC, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
Its construction uses polypropylene film, vacuum-deposited metalized electrodes, a cylindrical aluminum housing, and an overpressure disconnector. The manufacturer also specifies self-healing properties and an expected service life of at least 100,000 hours under the stated conditions.
KNI4051 and KNI4053: AC Filtering
The KNI4051 and KNI4053 series are designed for AC filtering, with single-phase or three-phase delta connection. They offer capacitance values from 3×8 µF to 3×200 µF, a rated RMS voltage of 450 V AC, a frequency of 50/60 Hz, and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
Key features include high ripple current capability, low losses, self-healing properties, and high reliability. The documentation also specifies an overpressure disconnector suitable for PFC and LCL filters.
